John Burgess joined the faculty of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in 2010. He is also band director at both Holy Trinity and Ascension catholic schools, directing their 5th through 8th grade band programs.
Mr. Burgess graduated from Wichita State University with Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Music Education degrees. He earned his Master of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
Mrs. Sandie Rosenblatt
Sapphires Coach
Sandie comes to STA with 16+ years of choreography/dance instruction for marching band programs, and indoor guard and dance competitions. Her experience includes-
1996-present: Head Instructor/Staff Coordinator for Music 'n Motion summer camp (a premiere summer camp company in the southeast for middle/high school students in dance, color guard, and baton twirling).
2008-present: Media Manager/Director of Marketing for Florida Marching Band Competitions (the state marching band competition with 200+ participating bands)
2002-2008: Drill Team Director for the Blue Valley High School Tigerettes.
Her experience also includes choreography, instruction, and production for the Chick-fil-A and Outback Bowl halftime performances.
