Environmental Defense League
We are a recycling awareness club at STA who want to get as many people involved in reducing the trash generated at STA. We want people to move beyond recycling paper and start the process of getting plastic bottles, aluminum cans, glass and other items back into the consumer stream. I plan on having service hours available for students to volunteer at Recycling centers, plant trees and other activities to help get the Green issue out there. If you have any other questions or want to know more feel free to ask.
We usually have our meetings on the last Thursday of each month. If there is a faculty meeting that week, we will meet the last Tuesday of the month instead.
