The Holocaust Study Tour is a two week experiential learning opportunity for students in grades 10-12 and will take place in April of 2013. Students will travel to Berlin, Germany, Prague, Olomouc and Trsice in the Czech Republic, and Krakow, Poland. Students learn about the Holocaust in the sites where the Holocaust occurred and will travel under the guidance of United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Regional Educators Lisa Bauman (Saint Thomas Aquinas High School English teacher), Bonnie Sussman (Bishop O’Dowd High School, Oakland, CA) and Colleen Tambuscio (New Milford High School, New Milford, NJ). Shalmi Barmore, an Israeli educator who started the Education Department at Yad Vashem, will lead the group of students from Saint Thomas Aquinas, Bishop O’Dowd High School, New Milford High School, and Jersey City schools. 2012 Highlightslinks and photos I emailed earlier today
