ROME — When Saint Thomas Aquinas seniors Kelsey Boschert and Virginia Bono were able to make it — quite by accident — to the inaugural Mass of Pope Francis on March 19, they could hardly believe their luck.
But it was just about to get better.

Passed a baby to hold out for a blessing from the new pope, the two girls were shocked to quickly find themselves face-to-face with the new leader of over a billion Catholics. 

Class of 2017 Makeup Registration is postponed to Thursday, February 28 at 5:45pm.

Aquinas twirler racks up successes
The last 10 months have been quite a ride for St. Thomas Aquinas sophomore Savannah Miller.

Back in April at the 2012 World Baton Twirling Championships in Neuchatel, Switzerland, she competed for the USA World Twirling Team. She won gold in 1-baton solo, 2-baton solo and rhythmic, a freestyle routine.
