What is the A.C.R.E. Test?

The Assessment of Catechesis and Religious Education (A.C.R.E.) test is provided by the National Catholic Educational Association as a way for institutions to measure their student's proficiency in the understanding of the Pillars of Cathechism of the Catholic Church.
The Pillars are broken down into 4 sections. The first area is the Profession of Faith or Creed. The second area is The Celebration of Christian Mystery or Liturgy Sacraments. The third area is the Life of Christ or Morality. The fourth and final area is Christian Prayer.
