Saint Thomas Aquinas Lands 4 Seniors on Mo/Kan All Star Team!!!

The 22nd Annual Country Mart Kansas vs. Missouri All Star Game
was held on Thursday, June 13th at Lee's Summit North.
The Kansas team was coached by a staff led by St. Thomas Aquinas Head Coach Mike Thomas.
The staff chose the following players to represent the Kansas side in the annual game
sponsored by the Greater Kansas City Football Coaches Association.

Dan Morin Selected to Shrine Bowl
The Kansas Shrine Bowl has announced that Dan Morin of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School
has been selected by a mail ballot of over 25 sports media professionals and selections
of the 2013 Kansas Shrine Bowl coaching staff to be invited to play in the 2013 Kansas Shrine Bowl.
This charity all-star football game is scheduled for July 27, 2013, at Yager Stadium, Washburn University, Topeka.
Selection to play in this game has become one of the most sought after and prestigious honors
a Kansas High School football player can be awarded.
Only 68 young men are invited to play in this game each year form the entire state of Kansas.
In addition to bringin honor and recognition to the participants and their schools
the Shrine Bowl donates all net profits, over two million dollars so far, to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Dan Morin has committed to play football at Cornell University.

Bouncing Back....Saints Season 2012
One of the big reasons for this year’s turnaround is the play of the senior class.
The group dedicated itself to reversing the course of the last season and the results are paying off.
One of the leaders of that class is running back Nick Williams
who has stepped into the limelight leading the offense that has had quite a few injuries to start the season.
