Shadow Program

Shadow registration will begin on Monday, September 21, 2009. All shadow registration will be done on line on this website. Thank you for your interest.

Saint Thomas Aquinas offers an optional shadow program for 8th grade students. Shadowing is not mandatory to attend Saint Thomas Aquinas. This program allows students in the 8th grade who are considering attending Saint Thomas Aquinas in the fall of 2010 to spend the day with a current sophomore who has similar interests, to see what a typical day is like.

PLEASE NOTE:
In order to register to shadow you will need to create a unique username and password. If you have already logged in for the first time use the username and password you created.

If you have not logged in before, go to FIRST TIME LOG-IN, input your last name and verify with your zip code. Once you are in to the site you will be able to create your unique username and password that you can use to register to shadow.

If your student currently attends a public school, please contact Diane Pyle, Director of Admissions (link below) to get your student's name, address and school added to the website so that you may log in to register for a shadow date.


Each day is a little different because we are block scheduled. Your options will include:  
  • Selected Monday's: 7:45 - 2:45 students will visit 7 - 45 minute classes
  • Selected Monday's: 7:45 - 2:45 students will visit 4 - 90 minute classes
  • Wednesday's: 7:50 - 2:45 students will visit 4 - 90 minute classes
  • Selected Thursday's: 11:00 - 2:45 students will have lunch and visit 2 - 90 minute classes
  • Selected Thursday's: 8:15 - 2:45 students will visit 3 - 90 minute classes and a one hour seminar
  • Selected Fridays if area grade schools are out - students will visit 4 - 90 minute classes

Sophomore's will be our hosts as they have been in the school for a full year and will be able to answer all of their questions. If you have a sibling currently at Saint Thomas Aquinas and you would like to shadow him/her you will have the option to list their name when you register for a shadow date.
