Kairos Retreats - (retreat application can be downloaded here)

Mr. Ryan Best is the coordinator for the Kairos retreats. Kairos is an intense retreat experience for Seniors. It usually runs from Wednesday evening through Saturday and is conducted off campus. The retreat helps students empower themselves and attain better relationships with their family, friends and with God. Kairos helps the retreatant relate his everyday experiences with God. The retreat is adapted from principles derived from the “Spiritual Exercises” of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Several retreats are offered each year.  Typically we hold one during the summer just before school starts and three each semester for a total of seven.  Applications are required to sign up and the retreat is first come, first serve basis.

Class Retreats

Mrs. Janel O'Donnell is the facilitator for class retreats. Class retreats are special opportunities for students to explore their spirituality. Retreats often involve a combination of liturgy, prayer, and interactive learning which combine to make for a group experience of certain spiritual themes or expressions of the Catholic faith. Most retreats aim to help the student come to know themselves better as well as grow in their relationship with Christ. Often several teachers will be asked to assist with class retreats. Retreats may be on or off campus.
