Our online credit recovery course program allows students to get back on track to graduate from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School.
Online Credit Recovery Process
The following steps outline the process for students who are identified for an online credit recovery course.
- Academic Counselor, Deb Castinado, meets with students who have failed a semester course to discuss and approve the online credit recovery course through Edgenuity.
- Students are provided instructions for registering in the online credit recovery course via Edgenuity. Upon receipt of payment, Patty Jordan, Registrar, will email the students and parents with login instructions on getting started with the course.
- Students will take all tests proctored at Saint Thomas Aquinas High School. Testing is by appointment only. Students must email Patty Jordan 24 hours in advance to schedule a test date and time.
- The final grade is assessed and calculated into the student's cumulative GPA. A passing grade of 67% must be achieved to gain credit. In the case of a failing grade, administration may decide that the student will need to retake the course in the upcoming school year.
