Summer Reading

Summer reading helps students retain and enhance their reading skills over the summer!
Summer Reading Details
- Students are required to complete a summer reading assignment for English courses. Please examine the list below and only read the selection for the class you will be enrolled in for the 2026-2027 school year.
- All summer reading will be accompanied by an assignment over the pieces(s) you read. Upon your return from summer break, you will be assessed over their understanding of the reading(s). Summer reading assessments are the first grades of each new school year.
- If you change courses mid-summer, you are still responsible for the summer reading for the course you will be enrolled in starting August 2026. So, make sure to come to class prepared with the correct work ready to go!
