Summer School Enrollment
Students have the opportunity to enroll in classes during the summer to potentially free up more classes during the school year.
Service Hours
All students are required to get service hours at Saint Thomas Aquinas. Freshmen will be required to get twenty hours of service. Fifteen of those hours need to be Corporal Works of Mercy hours. Students can start earning hours for the next school year starting on May 9th. Attached is the form they can use to track hours for the summer. Students will then import those hours to our online system at the beginning of the year. Incoming freshmen and transfer students will get their online service hour login information at the beginning of the school year.
Guided Studies
Guided Studies is a credit-bearing, freshman elective class that is designed to help selected students with the academic transition to high school. The Guided Studies curriculum includes detailed instruction in organization skills, study skills, improving time management, note-taking techniques, test-taking strategies, etc. that will provide the student with a solid learning base.
STA Cafe
The STA Café is excited to offer a variety of fresh, healthy foods in a fun, friendly atmosphere!!!

Expressing the Inexpressible The Saint Thomas Aquinas choir program strives for excellence in all kinds of music. We feel that every song has the potential to move people. Whether it be a reflection of God's love and the graces that He gives, or a chance to dance and rejoice as we do with our Show Choirs or Annual Dinner Theatre. In these ways, the choirs of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School will always be "Expressing the Inexpressible."

Students enrolled in the 2nd Hour Band will perform for thousands of people throughout the year! In the fall, the Saints Brigade Pep Band and Drum Line perform at all home football games and selected pep assemblies.

What We Do:
We compete against other schools in two-on-two debates during the fall semester. Debate is a competitive speaking activity in which high school students argue over what policies the United States government ought to adopt. Saint Thomas Aquinas competitors debate at competitive meets in locations throughout the state, against schools from around Kansas and elsewhere.

If you were hoping for us to be some junior CSI club, well, we’re sorry to disappoint you. Forensics is competitive speaking and acting, and it is an incredibly fun way to earn your speech credit in high school!
High School Physical
The Kansas High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) requires all students participating in athletic activities, including cheer and dance, to have current physical and concussion forms on file in the athletic office before a student can participate in any athletic/spirit practice or competition.
Physicals must be completed and dated on or after May 1, 2023, to be current for the upcoming school year. Parents need to complete the first page of the physical form. Page four of the physical and the last page of the concussion forms need to be signed by both the student-athlete and the parent.
We offer a variety of sports camps during the summer. To access information about all of the summer camp opportunities, please go to www.stasaints.net/summercamps.
