Dress Code
The purpose of a dress code includes the following:
1. Provide a uniform appearance in order to promote school identity and a sense of community
2. Promote pride and responsibility in personal appearance
3. Reduce the cost of buying clothes
4. Reduce competition among students based on physical appearance
All students are required to wear school uniforms every school day except on designated STA days.

Skyward How-To
Skyward Family Access is our secure internet-based website that allows parents to view your student's academic progress, discipline records, attendance, and class schedule. Parents will be issued a login and password at the Freshman Family Access Info Night on August 13th from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. before the Freshman Gift Gathering Party in the Commons.

Service Hours
All students are required to get service hours at Saint Thomas Aquinas.  Freshman will be required to get 20 hours of service.  15 of those hours need to be Corporal Works of Mercy hours. Students can start earning hours for next school year starting on May 6th.  Attached is the form they can use for the summer. Incoming freshman and transfer students will get their online service hour login information at the Summer Device Orientation (information on this will come in an email).

Guided Studies
Guided Studies is a credit-bearing, freshman elective class that is designed to help selected students with the academic transition to high school. The Guided Studies curriculum includes detailed instruction in organization skills, study skills, improving time management, note-taking techniques, test-taking strategies, etc. that will provide the student with a solid learning base.

STA Cafe
The STA Café is excited to offer a variety of fresh, healthy foods in a fun, friendly atmosphere!!!

Choir
Expressing the Inexpressible The Saint Thomas Aquinas choir program strives for excellence in all kinds of music. We feel that every song has the potential to move people. Whether it be a reflection of God's love and the graces that He gives, or a chance to dance and rejoice as we do with our Show Choirs or Annual Dinner Theatre. In these ways, the choirs of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School will always be "Expressing the Inexpressible."

Instrumental Music
Students enrolled in 2nd Hour Band will perform for thousands of people throughout the year! In the fall, the Saints Brigade Pep Band and Drum Line perform at all home football games and selected pep assemblies.

Debate Team – Enroll in Novice Debate
What We Do:
We compete against other schools in two-on-two debate during the fall semester. Debate is a competitive speaking activity in which high school students argue over what policies the United States government ought to adopt. Saint Thomas Aquinas competitors debate at competitive meets in locations throughout the state, against schools from around Kansas and elsewhere.

Forensics
If you were hoping for us to be some junior CSI club, well, we’re sorry to disappoint you. Forensics is competitive speaking and acting, and it is an incredibly fun way to earn your speech credit in high school!

High School Physical
The Kansas High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) require all students participating in athletic activities, including cheer and dance, to have current physical and concussion forms on file in the athletic office before a student can participate in any athletic/spirit practice or competition.

Physicals must be completed and dated on or after May 1, 2017, to be current for the upcoming school year. Parents need to complete the first page of the physical form. Page four of the physical and the last page of the concussion forms need to be signed by both the student-athlete and parent.

Summer Camps & Strength and Speed
We offer a variety of sports camps during the summer. To access information about all of the summer camp opportunities, please go to www.stasaints.net/summercamps.
