Campus Ministry » Liturgies

The Masses are prepared by the campus ministry class and club.  Students are a vital part of the liturgy and prayer planning process at STA.  This team of students meets regularly to plan upcoming all-school liturgies as well as special praise and worship events or other devotional prayer services.  Students participate in liturgical ministries by volunteering as lectors, extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist, art and environment planners and altar servers.

All-school Masses are held every 3-4 weeks and revolve around many themes; such as, service, leadership, and our Patron Saint’s feast day in January.

Daily Masses are held in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception at 7:20 AM every school-day, Tuesday through Friday.

Parents, family, and friends of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School are invited to ALL LITURGIES.

A benediction is a blessing, so benediction as a Eucharistic devotion is a blessing using the Blessed Sacrament. It occurs in the context of Eucharist exposition, usually at the end of a time of exposition.

We celebrate this special time as a whole community once a year with Archbishop Naumann.  It is a time we come together and spend time with Jesus.

Reconciliation is a time to get closer to Jesus through the acknowledgment of our human errors that have separated us from Him.  Reconciliation is available on most Fridays during STA Period and in large groups on a regular basis throughout the year.  We gather as a community twice a year, once during Advent and once during Lent, to participate in the Sacrament together.
