MILA ELLSWORTH, '97, HAS AGREED TO BECOME OUR NEW HEAD SOFTBALL COACH
Kerri Jennings--Assistant Coach:
It is Kerri Jennings' 25th year coaching softball for St. Thomas Aquinas. She spent 3 years coaching JV before moving up to be the assistant varsity coach in 1998. She is in her 10th year teaching in the PE department at Aquinas, as well as coaching freshman 'A' volleyball. Before coming to Aquinas, Kerri taught and coached volleyball at Bonner Springs High School for 11 years.In addition, she played volleyball and softball at the junior college level before earning her degree from the University of Kansas. Kerri currently lives in Bonner Springs with her husband, Brad, and her son, Dylan.
Jessica Teddy--Assistant Coach
This is Jessica’s 8th year coaching girls’ softball, including one year of Aquinas JV softball. She played softball at The Catholic University of America earning the MVP for shortstop her senior year. She was a 4 time letterman at Aquinas helping the Saints earn their first state title in 1997.She earned league honors for her batting average and fielding at shortstop.
Jessica graduated top in her class with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Catholic University of America. She works at Stowers Institute as a Lab Technician doing cancer research in a developmental biology lab.She is happily married to Chris Teddy (1999 alumni) with their four kids, Lorelei, Charlotte, Jameson and Hudson.
