Jennifer Caldwell – Head Coach


Jenny is thrilled to be returning this year to coach the Lady Saints!  She has been coaching for 10 plus years with a local USA club Swim team and a few years for USA Triathlon.


Jenny started coaching 25 years ago with the city of Fairway summer league, and has also coached a few summer leagues in Overland Park through Southland Clinic.  She has been married to husband Lance 25 years and is a mother to 5. Three in college (K-State and KU) one in High school and one in middle school. All of them have been competitive swimmers.


Jenny has a background in Music, (Vocal Performance) from the UMKC Conservatory of Music. In her free time loves to train for short runs (5k -1/2 marathon) locally, attend concerts (will travel for a few favorite artists), has a small sewing business, and enjoys quick getaways anywhere with her husband.


Jenny is looking forward to encouraging swimmers to learn a lifelong skill and compete while doing so.  Go Saints!!!


Kailyn Keplinger – Dive Coach


Kailyn is excited for her 4th year coaching at St. Thomas Aquinas HS. She graduated from the University of Kansas and is a huge Jayhawk fan.


Kailyn is currently an elementary school teacher for the Olathe School District. She grew up diving in the Kansas City area through the CCSAKC League and in addition to coaching at STA, Kailyn has also been a dive coach at Blue Hills Country Club and a referee in the Kansas City area. 


Her favorite part about coaching is watching the girls encourage one another when trying new dives at practice! 


Katherine (Kat) Kennedy – Assistant Swim Coach


Kat is excited for her 3rd year of being assistant coach for the girls swim team. This is also her 3rd year of teaching math and being the Teens for Life sponsor at Aquinas.  She was a swimmer from 6-18 years old and loves backstroke and relays.  She is currently getting her masters in school administration through Benedictine College. Outside of work and coaching, Kat is involved in mission work and enjoys traveling back to Belize to serve. Kat also volunteers for Prince of Peace youth group.  She is an avid sports fan and enjoys going to Royals games, Chiefs games, KSU football games and returning to games at her alma mater, Benedictine. Kat is looking forward to an exciting season and is looking forward to working with the girls!!  GO SAINTS!
