Key Club Service

One of the pillars of Saint Thomas Aquinas is Service. Throughout the school year, students partake in many activities that allow them to serve. This school year, we have already seen our spirit of service in multiple ways. At school, students have participated in a School Supply Drive. This drive was organized by the NHS students and the supplies were donated to Resurrection Catholic School in Wyandotte County.
Additionally, we had our yearly fundraiser for our children in Guatemala and India. With the generous support of our community, we will be able to collect around $3400. We met our goal and will be able to continue to sponsor the following Guatemalan & Indian children:
Manuel - 16 (sponsored since 2011), Teresa - 15 (sponsored since 2013), Diana - 14 (sponsored since 2015), Dulce - 16 (sponsored since 2016), Shruti - 13 (sponsored since 2019), William - 11 (sponsored since 2019), Carlos - 13 (sponsored since 2021)

Finally the members of Key Club (a club dedicated to Service), will be out at the soccer fields this weekend participating in TEAM Soccer this weekend. TEAM Soccer is a program designed for players with physical and/or cognitive disabilities who wish to learn and play the game of soccer. Stay tuned for some action shots.
