A LETTER FROM ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL KARA DiCARLO

Dear Parents and Students,

FAITH & SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

Teens for Life - 40-Days for Life Wrap Up
Thank you to all that participated in the 40-Days for Life Campaign.  We had about 75 participants covering 11 hours on Sunday, October 24. Football, Girls LaCrosse, Boys Basketball, Cross Country, Mrs Radiel and math students, and several Saint Thomas Aquinas families took hours to pray for those affected by abortion and bring awareness that abortion hurts women, men and children. There will be another 40-Day campaign in the Spring, during Lent. We hope that you can join us!

First Saturday Prayer
Saturday Nov 6
We start at 8:15 AM with Mass at Nativity Church, then head to Planned Parenthood (on 109th St., just east of Roe Ave.) about 9:00 AM and pray the Rachel’s Rosary, and breakfast follows. Come join us!

Hello Saints Community!
My name is Luke Konnesky, and I am Student Council President. As I'm sure your children have told you, the Canned Food Drive is upon us! This year’s theme is CANCUN. The drive runs from November 2-8. We are looking to bring in 200,000 cans, and here’s how you can help! Please watch the video below:

Ways to Donate:

MONETARY (tax-deductible)

  • Cash/Check
    • Have either you or your student bring your cash/check to the front office.
    • Make your check out to “Saint Thomas Aquinas High School”
  • Donate on Website
  • CANS
    • Bagging
      • Get paper bags from your local grocery store and staple the attached flier and drop the bags around your neighborhood
    • Canning
      • Have your student go door to door and ask for cans! This is our favorite Halloween tradition!
    • Buying
      • Go to the store and get as many CANS as you CAN!

The only way for us to reach our goal and to help as many people is to have 100% participation! WE NEED YOUR HELP! No donation is too big or too small. We appreciate you taking the time to read through this. Thank you for your contributions.

The ceremony is for Senior student athletes who have committed to play a sport at the collegiate level. The ceremony will be held right after school in the Theater.

Sports Physicals
If your son/daughter is interested in trying out/participating in an STA Winter Sport, we must have a complete Physical file before November 15, 2021. If you already turned in a sports physical for Fall, it is good for the entire school year.
If you need to complete the forms and physical process, please use the link below to download the forms. Once the forms are completed, please turn them in to the Student Life Office (formerly known as the Athletic Office) located in Senior Hallway. Or you may also email them to Brigid Triggs at [email protected].
