Teens for LifeThank you to all who participated in the Teens for Life activities this past weekend!
First Saturday
Mass and prayer at Planned Parenthood had eight participants and St James joined us along with Deacon Ron and several other pro-life supporters, as we prayed the Rachel’s Rosary. Hopefully we caused some cancellations!
40 Days for Life
Prayer Vigil on Sunday March 6 had 48 participants covering 10 hrs, praying through cold, rain, and hail. We had a great variety of participants: students, parents, teachers, coaches, and alumni parents. Thank you, Thank you.
Spring Break Day Mission Trip
For those having a stay-cation for Spring Break, Teens for Life is offering a Service Day. We will help out at Wyandotte Pregnancy Center on March 16, 11:30-2:30. We will tour and learn about their ministry, have a quick pizza lunch and help clean, sort and arrange donated goods. If you need a ride from STA, we will leave at 11 am and return around 3pm, meet near the Chapel entrance to the school. Contact Mrs Loughman at [email protected] to sign up.

Mass of Remembrance
Wednesday, March 30, 2022 @ 7:00 p.m.
Chapel of the Immaculate Conception
The Mass of Remembrance honors those loved ones in our Saints community who have passed away, especially in 2019 - 2021. Please plan to arrive between 6:30 - 6:45 p.m. as attendees are invited to enter the name of their loved one in the Saints’ Book of Remembrance, light a votive, and place it on the altar before Mass begins.

CONGRATULATIONS
STA Jazz BandThe STA Jazz Express received an Excellent rating at the PSU Jazz Festival last week! This was their first performance at an in-person jazz festival in two years. Great job band!
 Bridge BuildingCongratulations to students from Coach Hetzel’s Principles of Applied Engineering class and Drafting classes.
Thomas Kluck, Loren Perbix and Carson Scheinkoenig finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Kansas Society of Professional Engineers Model Bridge Building Contest held on March 5th.
Over 90 students from 7 different Johnson County High Schools entered the contest. Saint Thomas Aquinas students captured the top 16 places!
