 SUMMER 2022 STRENGTH, SPEED & AGILITY PROGRAM

 

Saint Thomas Aquinas High School offers a comprehensive Strength, Speed & Agility program for young men and women in Grades 7-12.  All athletes are instructed on proper lifting techniques and safety procedures.  This program is designed to help prevent injuries and increase an athlete’s strength, power and agility.  A completed registration form and signed waiver must be on file before a student will be allowed to participate in the Summer Strength, Speed & Agility Program.  Please see the registration form below.

 

Coordinated by Saints Head Football Coach, Randy Dreiling.  Lifting Instructor is Bo Meisenheimer.  This program is tailored to suit the needs of four separate groups of athletes:

 

Session 1:  Saint Thomas Aquinas Football Players

June 13 - August 11 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (Exception:  Closed July 4-10)

Cost - $200

For students in grades 9 -12 who are, or desire to be, members of the Saints football team. Program is structured as follows:

 

Session 3:  Non-Football Male Athletes/ Female Athletes

June 13 - August 11 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

(Exception:  Closed July 4-10)

Cost - $150

For students in grades 9-12 who wish to participate in a summer strength, speed & agility program.  Program is structured as follows:

Grades 9-12

9-10AM: Lift

10-10:30AM: Speed & Agility

Grades 10, 11 & 12

6-7AM:  Lift

7-7:30AM:  Speed & Agility

7:30-8:30AM:  Football Drills on Mon & Wed through July 14

Grade 9

7-8AM:  Lift

8-8:30AM:  Speed & Agility

8:30-9:30AM:  Football Drills on Mon & Wed through July 14

Session 2:  Middle School Football Players

June 13 – August 11 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (Exception:  Closed July 4-10)

Cost - $200

    

For the 7th & 8th grade football player wishing to begin a supervised strength program while further enhancing football fundamentals and athletic skills specifically as they relate to Saint Thomas Aquinas football philosophies and strategies.  Program is structured as follows:

Grades 7 & 8 

8-9AM:  Lift

9-9:30AM: Speed & Agility

9:30–10:30AM: Football Drills on Mondays & Wednesdays through July 13

Session 4:  Non-Football Male Athletes/ Female Athletes

June 13 - August 11 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (Exception:  Closed July 4-10)

Cost -$150
