Matt Hallauer has held a variety of jobs at Saint Thomas Aquinas since he graduated from Baker University in 2005. He is currently a counselor, assistant cross country coach and assistant National Honor Society adviser. He was previously the newspaper and yearbook adviser, English and journalism teacher, an assistant track coach, a spring break mission trip leader, and adviser for the Quill & Scroll NHS and Touching Tiny Lives / International Children's Advisory Network.

What Matt loves most about teaching, counseling and coaching is helping kids develop better decision-making habits. Instead of just memorizing facts, he believes Saints need to be learning how to overcome challenges through reflection, teamwork and a steady work ethic.
