The Girls Basketball program is a very decorated sport at Saint Thomas Aquinas.  Coach Hetzel took over the helm in the 98-99 season. Since then the Saints have gone on to create historical numbers for the High School. 

• 31 Consecutive trips to the State Tournament
• 8 of 9 State Titles since 2016
• 12 State Titles (2 of those at 6A level)
• 34 Players have played Collegiately
• 2 Gatorade Kansas Player of the Year
• Multiple All-EKL Players
• 5 State Runner-ups
• 100% Graduation Rate
• 100% NCAA Eligibility Rate

The Saints program is a highly competitive program with a motto that states, “Many play, few Understand.” Every player who comes through the girls basketball program will tell you how true that motto becomes by the time you leave Saint Thomas Aquinas.
