Education in Virtue
- PN - Faith & Service
Dear Families,
Our Saint Thomas Aquinas community has a subscription to the Education in Virtue program through Open Light Media that is created and operated by the Dominican Sisters of Mary, the Mother of the Eucharist in Ann Arbor, MI.
Education in Virtue is more than just a program. It is a clear, organized way of living a good, meaningful life. A happy life. What is virtue? It simply means the habit of doing good.
With resources for all ages, Education in Virtue has something for everyone.
There are many resources for virtue formation that you can use in your family faith formation such as videos, blog posts, journals, information on the Saints, and so much more.
Here's how you can create an account to access the Education in Virtue program resources:
1. Go to https://openlightmedia.com/join-my-group.
2. Create an account.
3. Find our group in the search field using our postal code: 66215
4. Choose Saint Thomas Aquinas High School.
5. Start exploring the resources from Open Light Media and Education in Virtue!
Please contact Ms. Salazar (ssalazar@stasaints.net) if you have any questions or need help creating an account.

A couple of weeks ago, we focused our attention on the virtue of humility. I opened up the “Just for Fun” section of the Virtue Field Guide and discovered a wonderful connection between humility and a bonsai tree. Once again, I want to draw our attention to the same section, but now for the virtue of moderation.
