Freshman - Breaking Down the Walls
On September 16th, all freshman will be attending a program called Breaking Down the Walls. This program focuses on bringing students together and recognizing that we are more alike than different. It incorporates our faith, virtues, and welcoming all the freshmen as a group into our Saint Thomas Aquinas community. Students are able to dress down (spirit wear on top and joggers or jeans on bottom). Lunch will be provided (or you can bring your own) and of course there will be yummy snacks. This will be the 3rd year for Breaking Down the Walls to visit Saint Thomas Aquinas and every year students rave about their wonderful experiences.

When I was young, my big sister told me if I didn’t brush my teeth then I would need braces and then my family would go broke. Instead of burying my fear and shame by brushing excessively, I knew to tell my parents when I was afraid, even when I had messed up so badly.

First-year out-of-state students can use the code "HUSKER" to apply for free from October 17–November 1. Students who apply for admission by November 1 will be notified of their scholarship awards on February 11.
