Saint Thomas Aquinas High School offers many electives that can help a student take their first step towards a career.
We have academic partnerships with JCCC and Rockhurst University, as well as Blue Valley CAPS program.
If students would like more resources to discern a career path, visit www.stasaints.net/careerfinder for help. Or see page 15 of our Academic Guide Book. Also, students can stop by the Counseling Office and see any of our counselors.
What follows is an example of a career path and ideal courses to take in high school for that path:
Religious Studies
Sociology, Psychology/AP Psychology, all Theology electives, Business Classes, Public Speaking, Cultural Studies, Contemporary Issues, Campus Ministry, Social Justice.
