Random Drug Screening Policy
Saint Thomas Aquinas High School seeks to educate, evaluate, and partner with students, parents and our community to create a safe, faith-filled learning environment where everyone can practice a virtuous life.
As our world has changed, so have the influences and risks for our children. We trust our administrators and staff when they say this is needed to help protect the safety and health of our students, in partnership with parents and guardians. The Board unanimously supports the school’s implementation of the new drug screening policy.

Creating a Safe Environment
We firmly believe that prevention and early intervention are essential components of supporting our students' development. By equipping our students with the necessary tools and resources, we aim to empower them to make informed decisions that prioritize their well-being. The implementation of random drug screening provides students with a compelling reason to resist peer pressure and serves as a proactive measure in reducing their risk of adverse outcomes.

For the Mission of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School to live out in our school, partnerships must be formed between the family and the school. For this to happen, we all need to understand our role in this partnership. We are asking parents and students to be aware of Saint Thomas Aquinas High School’s expectations and policies created to help strengthen this relationship.
