For more than 20 years, our school has been fulfilling school supply requests to Resurrection Catholic School in downtown KCK and its predecessors during the first week of school.
Resurrection Catholic School at the Cathedral in downtown KCK is an incredible community with hard-working and selfless faculty and staff that serve an at-risk population. For more than 20 years, our school’s National Honor Society has been fulfilling school supply requests to Resurrection and its predecessors during the first week of school.
The drive is adjusted annually based on Resurrection’s needs. Each class at Saint Thomas Aquinas has five specific goals to reach that are listed below. This is a Class Competition for Class of the Year points. Reaching the goal first will earn four points, and not reaching the goal for all five categories will result in zero points. Classes need to communicate to reach their goal! The Student Council has Give Butter accounts set up to gather funds, and GroupMe chats for communicating.
The teachers who do such great work also need our financial support with supplies. While our Saints are sending boxes of bulk supplies, their teachers are asking for specialized supplies. If you would like to fulfill a wish, please send an email to MHallauer@stasaints.net so I know that wish has been answered. The wish list can be sent directly to Resurrection, or dropped off at Aquinas for delivery.

For the past 25 years, our school community has helped dozens of Guatemalan children and their siblings attend school, receive medical and dental care, and improve their families’ quality of life. This is a wonderful opportunity for our Saints community to continue making a difference!
