The spirit of generosity and community was on full display during this year’s Wigs Out event. Students, faculty, and supporters came together for a powerful cause-standing in solidarity with those experiencing medically related hair loss.
Highlights of our Wigs Out event, March 11, 2026
- 53 ponytails were cut and donated
Participants proudly took part in the tradition, knowing their contributions will help provide confidence and comfort to individuals in need.
- $7,000 was raised by the Aquinas community
These funds play a crucial role in ensuring that the donated hair can be transformed into high quality wigs and distributed free of charge to those who need them most.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed financially to support this mission, and an especially profound appreciation to the selfless individuals who donated their hair. Your generosity and bravery are what make this event so special.
Wigs Out once again proved to be more than just an event. It was a celebration of empathy, service, and the power of coming together for a greater purpose.
