Last September, Richard Phillips visited with students in Leo Brown's classes. He was so impressed with the staff and students of Saint Thomas Aquinas that he donated $100,000 to Aquinas to establish a scholarship -  now called "The Richard Phillips Pursuit of Knowledge Scholarship".

His scholarship stresses the importance of reading, empathy and - of course, the pursuit of knowledge, not just for its own sake but to serve others' good. We are extremely appreciative of Mr. Phillip's generosity. Scholarships like this one sustain our Saints Legacy Endowment Fund now and for generations to come!

He was also the keynote speaker at the Scholarship Reception, Tuesday evening, April 29th.

Enjoy this interview video produced and aired on CBS Sunday Morning.
