Band

Band is open to all students at Aquinas who have had previous band experience. We would love for you to be a member of the Saints Brigade!  

Saints Brigade Band & Drumline

The Saints Brigade Band and Drumline plays pep band tunes for all home football games in the fall and home basketball games during the winter.  In addition to pep band, this group also prepares concert band literature for the fall, Christmas, and spring concerts, as well as for the KSHSAA Large Group festival held in April.  Students enrolled in this group are eligible to participate in the KMEA district honor group auditions held in the fall and/or the KSHSAA solo/small ensemble festival held in April.  

Fortitude! Show Choir Band

The band, Fortitude! is a high-energy ensemble that accompanies STA’s two award-winning competition show choirs, Swingin’ Saints and Saintsations.  Each choir performs a 15-minute set. This group rehearses during selected STA periods during the Fall semester. Show choir competitions take place on Saturdays during the winter months.  There are typically one or two competitions that require an overnight stay in a hotel due to their location (i.e. the Omaha or Lincoln, Nebraska competitions). Show choir competitions are A LOT of fun, so please consider being a member of Fortitude!
