Student Council
One of the reasons school spirit is so great at Saint Thomas Aquinas is the Class Competition that takes place all year long. Throughout the school year Student Council assists with and runs many of the events that earn classes points. Each class has a quota to reach by the end of the last event of the year, Spring Olympics. The upper class men’s quotas are higher than the underclassmen’s quota since they are more experienced. At the conclusion of Spring Olympics, each class finds out if they have met their quota and if they have the day off of school. For the lucky Class of The Year, the class with the most points, they receive an additional waiver for finals! Students go all out to get Class Competition points to get these fantastic rewards.
