Middle School Tailgate was Electric!

This year's Middle School Tailgate was electric! 🤩 Performances by our Saints Band, Cheer Squad, and Dance Team got the evening rockin'!

But it was our Middle School Half-time scrimmage featuring Prince of Peace Catholic School vs. Cure' of Ars Catholic School that got us in the spirit of celebrating our youth of the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in KS! We look forward to seeing these faces back on the field wearing our blue and gold! 😉

French and German students displays and field trip

Upper level French and German students recently wrapped up a unit studying the fine arts. Students researched a topic of their choice, created projects to display their research, and discussed with peers in the target language what they learned.

Check out the German “Ausstellungen” (“exhibit posters”) and French “salles d’exhibition” (“exhibition rooms”)!

The two groups united for a visit to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art to experience many fine works of art in person.

Fr. Colm Larkin standing with two Aquinas students

New this year is Supper Club! Open to all students, the goal of the club is to learn more about our Catholic faith in a relaxed environment!

Once a month, students are invited to the Chapel during the second half of STA period to hear from a different speaker on various topics.

Join your peers this Friday to hear from our own Chaplain, Fr. Colm, and see if you can "stump the priest".

Andrew have kindly given me the spotlight in this week's bulletin to offer my gratitude and share a bit of my journey.

From 2014-2018, I attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School.

Matt Brun at the Royals Stadium to sing the National Anthem

Sophomore, Matt Brun had the incredible opportunity to sing the National Anthem at the Royals v. Mariners game Thursday, August 17. He was asked to wear Royals gear, or he would have worn something with Saint Thomas Aquinas on it to promote the Saints.

Matt is a member of the Swingin’ Saints. His parents are both Saints Alumni, Mike and Carrie (Kavanaugh) Brun, '97.
