Did you know there' s a wiffle ball champ at Aquinas? His name is Andre and he's a freshman. 

Recently the Shield caught up with Max Broomfield to learn a bit more about his role in Halo and a hobby turned full time student role.

Peyton Vena is a senior at Saint Thomas Aquinas and her family lives on 20 acres of land in Olathe, KS. They have 19 chickens, two ducks, two dogs, two cats, a turtle, a lizard and some fish. They also sell their own brand of chicken eggs called Pelton's Flock & Farm. 

The fall musical this year is Footloose and the student playing the lead role of Ren, is senior, Matthew Fortino. He feels like he really connected with the character and has been working hard to bring Ren to life on stage.

Hailey Selock is a senior at Saint Thomas Aquinas, and is playing Ariel Moore in the upcoming play, Footloose. Hailey said she tried out for Ariel, because she is the main lead and wanted to land an important role to make her senior year memorable. “I love Ariel’s character and I feel like this role really suits me.”

Cooper Hall will be playing the character, Willard Hewitt in the fall musical, Footloose. Cooper tried out for the role of Willard because he felt his personality fit the role well and was confident he could bring this character to life in a fun and exciting way.
